Here we are again, a full half-year has passed and we once again are reaching out for the support of our community, which is you! Please consider supporting this people-driven, people-centered non-profit radio project that we pour so much love into throughout the year. If you'll let me make a quick pitch as to why your support is important at this very moment, please read on:

The radio dial is chock full of hateful talk and tedious hyper-commercial music programming, both of which bombard us all with ridiculous "takes" and all sorts of questionable products, all the while doing this from an ostensibly publicly-owned broadcast utility that has been systematically deregulated to eliminate many of the guidelines that once kept radio a more vibrant, local, and varied experience. Our community came together in 2013 to push back against this unrelenting tide of drivel that makes up way too much of current radio offerings... to see if we could balance the radio dial a bit, and add to the too-short (but growing) list of FM radio stations that provide an alternative to the homogenous DULLNESS lurking on most of our airwaves.

Because our model is different than the corporate one, we are free to keep our station LOCAL, relevant to THIS COMMUNITY, and welcoming to a DIVERSITY of voices.
