Sadder Star showcases the highly expressive and often misunderstood genre of emo, short for emotive hardcore. Emo originated out of the mid-80s DC hardcore punk scene and has morphed into various forms over the decades since. This show spans all forms of emo / screamo / emotive hardcore and its related subgenres, with an emphasis on rare 90s emo.
