Hello, friends. The clock on the wall says it is time to once again break out your wallets, piggy banks, smartphones, money orders, and wire transfers to support XRAY during our 2021 Fall Membership Drive. It is also time for me to show no mercy the rest of the chumps on the air and involved with the station.

I love being a part of the XRAY community - and that goes beyond the work that I do producing my radio show Double Bummer every week. The rest of the on air team, the folks behind the scenes, and all of our volunteers are so committed to keeping this station alive and helping it grow that I'm never not inspired by them. It's part of the reason I joined the station's Board of Directors this year. I want to support all of these amazing people and support independent media here in Portland. 

As much as I love all of these people, when it comes to fundraising for XRAY—as we do twice a year to help fund equipment upgrades and new programming endeavors, as well as paying our dedicated staff—I want to crush the competition. Some folks out there may remember the spring membership drive when I was thwarted in my goal for fundraising glory by fellow DJ Tex Clark.

That can't happen again.

For the fall membership drive, I want to reign supreme. I want my peer-to-peer page to make the rest of the pages look puny in comparison. I want to raise more money than the rest and drink from the cup of glory (otherwise known as the XRAY coffee mug in my kitchen cabinet).

But I can't do it without your help.

Donate today to XRAY's fall membership drive and help me earn the bragging rights I so richly deserve... while also suppoting a platform for the best music programming in the city and amazing talk programs like Heavy Breather, Blazer's Edge Radio and my personal favorite Gender Reveal.

If you need some incentive, anyone that gives $15 or more (either a one-time gift or becoming a monthly donor) in honor of myself and Double Bummer will be entered to win a vinyl prize package including a handful of records chosen by myself. I'll work with you to make sure you get some music you will truly enjoy.
