Turtles Have Short Legs is an intoxicating mix of psychedelic & experimental sounds new & old. Expect krautrock/kosmische, acid folk/weirdlore, experimental ambient, hauntological delights, popsike pipedreams, analog electronics, surreal sound collage/drone, avant-rock oddities, spiritual jazz, unusual international sounds of all stripes, and more.

Though I have been making radio for decades, the program known as Turtles Have Short Legs started its life in 2016 on another local station and made the move to XRAY in the fall of 2022. This is truly a labor of love for me--I put countless hours into creating the show and a good bit of my own money purchasing music to share with you via the amazing medium of radio.
