Support XRAY today on behalf of Sadder Star, a radio show specializing in the highly expressive and often misunderstood genre of emo. Sadder Star spans all forms of emo / screamo / emotive hardcore and its related subgenres, with an emphasis on lesser known 90s emo.

XRAY is Portland's premier noncommercial community radio station and is predominantly funded by listener membership and small one-time donations, without any corporate financial backing. That means every dollar you donate helps keep XRAY running and goes towards the station's basic opperating costs! We are planning to use these funds to continue growing over the next few years by doing projects such as: overhauling the XRAY website, moving the station to a new larger, physically-accessible location, upgrading crucial studio equipment, and constructing a brand new radio signal in Seaside, OR!
